Requirements to become an ATP

To apply for the role of a BRCGS Approved Training Partner, applicants must meet the following qualifications and experience criteria:

  • A degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in the relevant field.
  • Qualification in HACCP or risk assessment (minimum two-day course).
  • Have at least five years of experience in the consumer products sector.
  • Evidence of training qualifications and/or relevant training experience.
  • Submit two professional references: one for industry experience and one for training experience.
  • Successful completion of a registered QMS Lead Auditor Course (e.g. ISO 9001, IEMA, IRCA).
