Build consumer confidence in Mexico
ACELMEX A.C. is an independent not-for-profit charity, which supports those consumers suffering from celiac and non-celiac gluten sensitivity.
For over 15 years, the association has provided information on celiac disease and gluten-free diets, advised on social and educational problems and promoted multiple activities for the benefit of this sector.
Members depend on ACELMEX A.C. for reliable advice and support, the funding of critical research on celiac disease, working with health professionals to improve diagnosis and advocate for the increased availability of innovative, safe and reliable gluten-free foods.
Cecilia Fonolla Belforte president of ACELMEX states, “we are proud to endorse this partnership with BRCGS and now be able to exclusively endorse the best gluten-free standard in the world. Timing is good because we need to raise awareness in Mexico for these issues – although there is still a long way to go. So, we firmly hope that through this collaboration, we can recognise BRCGS certificated manufacturers for more Mexican companies. We wish to work with gluten-free brands, which wish to display/market our ACELMEX gluten-free certification seal/mark, on their packaging.
