Amol is a proactive and strategic Food Safety & Technical Consultant with over twenty years of experience, working in the food industry.

Amol has worked for blue chip companies such as Arla Foods, R & R Ice-cream (formerly Nestle), CSM Bakery Solutions, Graphic Packaging International, and also with SMEs to achieve and maintain BRCGS and other standards.


He has also worked with major retailers such as Teso, Waitrose, Aldi, Asda, Morrisons, Co-op and with high street restaurant chains such as Nando’s, Café Nero, Azzurri Group, RBI, and others. Amol continues working in collaboration with some well-known consultancy firms.


He holds a Master’s degree in Applied Microbiology from the University of Westminster, a first degree in Food Technology and a qualification as a BRCGS Lead Auditor. He is a IFST fellow member (IFST 242) and registered IFST and SALSA Auditor and Mentor.


Amol has a track record in achieving outstanding results in BRCGS and major retailer’s audits and has served businesses with products ranging from high risk ready to eat to low risk. His business philosophy is to achieve continuous improvement while leading a technical agenda for clients

  • HACCP, VACCP and TACCP write up and leading validation programs.
  • Paperless systems/software for QMS and FSMS.
  • Regular site visits to support technical agenda on site e.g. HACCP review, Management Meetings etc.
    BRCGS START, INTERMEDIATE to full BRCGS accreditation.
  • Trouble shooting at site e.g. RCA for the micro issues, quality issues etc.
  • Continuous improvement initiatives.
