Angela is a BRCGS Consultant for Food Safety, Storage & Distribution and Agents & Brokers with over 30 years’ international industry experience gained in product safety, technical and quality leadership roles across a range of high risk and ambient food categories in large national and international organisations.

Angela is an expert in Product Safety and Quality Management Systems and has supported over 80 sites achieve and maintain BRCGS certification in her career. She offers flexible, tailored, and guided support to help clients achieve their first BRCGS certification, improve audit grades, develop teams to be unannounced audit ready, and supports sites to re-gain certification quickly if it is withdrawn. She simplifies complex PSQMS systems at mature sites, conducts BRCGS gap and pre-assessments to assess compliance, reduce risk, improve product safety and identify opportunities for improvement.

Angela is an elected IFST Fellow, Registered Product Safety Manager, Professional Product Auditor and Mentor. Angela has been awarded Advanced Diplomas in Food Safety and HACCP and holds City & Guilds Award in Education & Training. Angela is a BRCGS Approved Training Partner, a registered Highfield Qualifications tutor, and a FSPCA Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI).

Angela provides calm support in crisis and recall situations, conducts complaint investigations, allergen, foreign matter, supplier and site security audits, and microbiological contamination investigations. She can help develop and implement HACCP studies; supplier management systems; internal audit, allergen, environmental monitoring, TACCP and VACCP risk assessments, and food safety culture reviews and action plans.

Angela works with multi-site organisations as well as SMEs to ensure their businesses meet customer and regulatory requirements, reduce operational and reputational risk and reduce costs.
