Tess Burlingame has more than 15 years of quality management experience that includes: developing and implement quality systems, food microbiology, quality testing, GMP, sanitation and good lab practices.
She has worked in many different manufacturing environments over the years and understands process control (SPC), continuous improvement, lean manufacturing and Global Food Safety Initiatives. Very strong understanding of packaging and other manufacturing systems and processes.
Tess is a certified HACCP trainer through the HACCP Alliance. She has attained Lead Assessor competencies in RABQSA-FS, RABQSA-AU, and RABQSA-TL. She is a registered BRCGS Packaging Auditor and a FSSC 22000 auditor and continues to meet competence requirements as an auditor.
She completed her undergraduate degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and also has a master’s degree in Organizational Management. Her ongoing training includes classes in Food Processing Sanitation/ Hygiene, Implementation of BRCGS Packaging Standards and FSMA.
