Ana is Associate Director on Sustainability Standards and Scheme Manager for BRCGS standards in LSQA, a leading Certification Body in Latin America with operations in Middle East and Europe. Being a member of the Technical Advisory Committee for ETRS, Ana is closely involved in the development and review of the standard. In the field of ethical trade and responsible sourcing, Ana is also SA8000 and SMETA Auditor and trainer, has participated in SEDEX Stakeholders Forum working groups since 2015 and is Scheme Manager for the Round Table on Responsible Soy.

Agricultural Engineer from Uruguay with a MSc. In Food Quality Management from Wageningen University (The Netherlands), has gained work experience in quality management and responsible sourcing in the multinational food manufacturing sector in Europe and across different countries in Latin America, combining a deep knowledge of international market demands and expectations with the understanding of suppliers’ challenges to address all dimensions of sustainable sourcing, acknowledging the role of auditing as a valuable tool that contributes to positive culture transformation.
