Andrea Hines is a Certified Food Scientist, holds a M.S. in Food Safety from the University of Arkansas, and is a Project Manager for the Georgia Tech Manufacturing Extension Partnership. Prior to joining Georgia Tech, she worked for the certification body FSNS Certification & Audit as a Training Manager, Technical Review, and Auditor. Andrea spent more than ten years in food safety, quality, regulatory, and communication roles with food manufacturers. Her manufacturing experience includes: beverages, seafood, meat, poultry, bakery, low acid canning, acidified foods, fermented foods, confections, produce, dry goods, fully cooked foods, dietary supplements, hemp derived ingredients, and dairy.
