Belém is Peruvian and a Food Industry Engineer who graduated from the Antenor Orrego Private University and has 13 years of experience in the food industry.
In the course of her career she worked for agro-industrial companies that process fresh, frozen and canned fruits and vegetables, managed certifications recognized by the GFSI ( BRCGS-IFS-SQF2000), HACCP, BASC, internal audits, sanitary inspections (DIGESA - SENASA), external audits, client audits and provided training.
She also worked for a company manufacturing flexible polyethylene packaging for the food industry and was involved in managing the safety of packaging, ISO9001 certifications, HACCP and implementation of BRCGS Packaging, customer audits, training, external audits.
She advised companies on how to obtain the Harmonized and BRCGS Packaging certification, provided training to companies specialising in food processing and packaging manufacturing on direct contact with food and food processing and taught in the High Specialization System Program Management and Food Safety of NSF and ESAN University.
She is a third-party auditor of Food Safety for NSF, ATP for Food and Packaging Materials, proctor of GFSI exams and the “Guardian of Trust” responsible for market development in Peru.
