Dagmar Engel MacDonald studied Biology at the University of Cologne. She also gained experience in adult and child education and training, radio and television, pharmaceutical research and later as an author/co-author of several technical books on food safety and HACCP.

Her training courses focus on microbiology, personal hygiene, crisis management, pest control, HACCP training and quality and hygiene audits for food and food packaging companies.

Dagmar carries out Third Party Audits on food packaging companies on behalf of several certifying bodies focussing on the BRCGS Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials, and other packaging standards. She is a recognised member of the International Register of Certified Auditors (IRCA) and the Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland.

Since 1997 she has worked in co-operation with many national and international technical and professional training institutes carrying out consultancy, training, and audits in Germany, Estonia, UK, Netherlands, France, Belgium, Luxemburg, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Belarus, Jordan, Syria, Mauritius, Dubai, Thailand, Turkey, Portugal, Chile, Vietnam and Japan.
