Elaine Wigham has worked in the food industry since 1987 and has an MSc in Advanced Food Manufacture from Nottingham University. Her roles in the Food Industry have included Microbiologist, Supplier Approval Manager and Technical Manager. She has worked in multiple Food Industry sectors including Brewing, Dairy, Bakery, Red Meat and Poultry, Oils and Fats and RTE meals.
Elaine has audited against the BRCGS Food Standard since 2008 and also Agents and Brokers and Storage and Distribution Standards since 2014.
After moving back into the industry for 4 years, between 2015 and 2019, Elaine worked as Technical Services Manager for FoodChain ID before becoming an Independent Food Safety Consultant in 2021.
