Freeman Libby, BSc, Director, Food Safety for The Acheson Group (TAG) is an experienced food safety management auditor, consultant and trainer having over 45 years of experience in a variety of areas within the food safety spectrum. Freeman has extensive experience in Food Regulatory Programs in Canada, 3rd party certification auditing specializing in seafood, food commercial sterility, and meat and poultry processing, food safety government program reviews, food safety system program reviews and training. He has international experience having performed government Seafood Inspection Program reviews in Peru, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. Freeman has performed over 150 BRCGS food audits and 50 FSSC Audits, Certifications include HACCP including Seafood HACCP; PCQI for Human Food; BRCGS ATP Trainer; and Lead Auditor.
