Hildegard is a graduate of Food Science and Biochemistry with a Master’s degree in Environmental Management. As an experienced and multi-skilled BRCGS Approved trainer, Lead Auditor and Food Safety Certifications expert, she receives constant feedback on her dynamic and positive teaching and coaching style.

With more than 20 years’ experience in the Food and Certifications industry, she has audited and trained in various continents and countries, including Africa, Europe, Asia, South America, North America and Russia. She loves working with people from across the globe, from different cultures and backgrounds and shows a unique passion for coaching and motivating people to take ownership of the Standard’s requirements and implementation thereof.

With a strong academic focus, Hildegard has taught HACCP and Packaging technology modules at the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa as well as Aeres University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands.
