Iain has 43 years experience in the Food Industry in Food Plant Operations including Plant Management, Quality Control, Product Development, Pest Control, Sanitation Management and Purchasing and Inventory Control.  

Previous experience includes GFTC Audit Services and Certification Manager auditing various standards including BRCGS while also acting as a certification manager. During that time he recruited, calibrated and managed auditors. More recently Iain worked for NSF-international in Auditing and then the Training and Education department. Iain developed and delivered training in Food Safety, Quality and Auditing. He is currently a BRCGS ATP and approved virtual instructor, an FSPCA Instructor for Human and Animal Food and an approved trainer for SQF. Iain is a graduate of the University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada with a Bachelor in Food Science with a Business Minor. Iain currently works as an independent food safety facilitator, coach and trainer.
