Josie has over 35 years of experience in Product Safety Management in both Manufacturing and Retail. She has considerable expertise in the implementation, auditing and training of Consumer Products and Food standards in the UK, Europe and Asia.

Prior to becoming a freelance implementation, training and auditing consultant in 2008, she spent 17 years with Tesco Stores Ltd. in technical and auditing roles in both food and consumer products areas. During this time she implemented standards within the supply chain for Tesco throughout The UK, Europe and Asia.

Since becoming a freelance ATP she has worked with a number of companies to successfully achieve BRCGS certification for Consumer Products, Food and Storage and Distribution, in addition to training many BRCGS sites and auditors, and brings a wealth of experience as a BRCGS ATP. She has played an active role in the development of the BRCGS Global Consumer Products Standard as part of the Technical Advisory Committee. Josie is a Fellow of the Institute of Food Science and Technology, a Chartered Chemist and Chartered Scientist, and has worked in GMP and GLP roles in the pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, personal care and household products industries.

Josie is also a BRCGS Approved Virtual Trainer.
