Manal has gained international experience in Africa and the Middle East with an immense focus on UK/EU requirements, especially in food safety, environmental, social and quality management systems. 

She has a diversified knowledge in the Food & Drink industry and has held senior management positions within different sectors of the supply chain since 1985.  In June 2008 she established her own business to drive convergence to voluntary sustainability standards, and she actively participates in the development and review processes of local and international standards. 

Manal has been working with BRCGS food standard since 2000, and has been an Approved Training Partner since June 2006, and a member of the Compliance Team since May 2011.  She is also a GLOBALG.A.P. Farm Assurer, and participates in the GLOBALG.A.P. fruit and vegetables technical committee as the ”smallholder observer” since July 2019. 

This extensive experience, has created a unique understanding of the fresh produce industry’s requirements and expectations particularly in Africa and the Middle East market.

Her language skills include Arabic and English.
