Mario Pineda has over 30 years of experience in food, chemical, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries. Experience includes extensive work for national and international operations. His education includes a master degree in Environmental Sciences and Engineering and a bachelor in Biology. He has extensive project and management experience in facilities operations, quality, safety, defense, OSH, and EMS improvement systems, as well as technology evaluation. He is a certified auditor for quality, safety, ethical sourcing, and HACCP systems, and has performed 1st, 2nd and 3rd party audits for over 20 years. He is certified/licensed trainer on quality, safety (e.g. GFSI schemes) and HACCP systems, and other aspects (e.g. FDA BPCS) according to national regulatory and other international programs. He has collaborated as technical expert or delegate for national and international standardization bodies (e.g. ISO TC 207, ISO TC 176, 3A SSI, CODEX Alimentarius, and National Standards) related to environmental, quality, safety management systems, and sanitary design issues. As Operations Director, he leads company’s auditing and training services in North America Region (Mexico, US and Canada).
