Veterinarian from the Universidad de Chile with over 20 years of experience as auditor, trainer and consultant in food companies, both processing sites and primary production companies. He has carried out assessments of control systems, quality assurance and management in companies, implementation of standards such as HACCP, Woolworths Quality Assurance (WQA) Standard, Walmart Private Label GFSI, Global GAP and GMP. He has been trainer in courses, seminars and workshops for companies and organizations in topics related to Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Agricultural Practices, quality assurance systems, quality management systems, internal audits, control of non conformities, complaint management and sanitizing operation, among others. He is lead auditor against ISO 9001 and has participated as team member and lead auditor in internal, second and third party audits for public and private institutions. In the food industry Mario has experience in the process of meat products, raw and processes dairy products, fresh chilled and processed fruits and vegetable, beverages, eggs, milling and fish products.
