Nick is an experienced and qualified food and brewing technologist. He has 45 years’ experience in the food and beverage industries with a special interest in food safety and food hygiene.

His experience includes 10 years at the South African Bureau of Standards (SABS), involved with food regulatory compliance; an additional 12 years in Food Safety and Quality Management within the Food and Beverage Industries; and a strong research background, founded at the Sorghum Beer Unit of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR).

Nick is a qualified BRCGS auditor and sub-contract auditor for NSF Africa.

He has served on the Food Safety Technical Committee of the SABS for the past 9 years.
