Nildag graduated from Trakya University Food Engineering department in 2006. While working she completed her Masters degree (e-MBA) at Istanbul Technical University.

Nildag has over 14 years of industry experience in the Food Sector. She first worked in the quality department of the company, which produces bakery and dairy products for about 8 years.

After this experience, she worked as a food product manager in SGS Turkey. For six years in SGS Turkey, she was responsible for food standards and also worked as full time auditor and trainer for different standards like BRC Food, BRC Packaging, FSSC Food, FSSC Packaging, ISO 22000, ISO 9001, Dutch HACCP.

Nildag is currently the Food Sector Leader for BSI Turkey managing the delivery of all Food Standards, maintaining their food audit process. She is also full-time auditor and trainer for food standards like BRC Food, BRC Packaging, FSSC Food, FSSC Packaging, ISO 22000, ISO 9001, Dutch HACCP.
