Robert has over 25+ years of experience in food manufacturing, food safety and quality, horticulture and auditing in various food industries including Meat Protein (further processing and slaughter), Plant-Based Proteins, Horticulture, and Bakeries.

Currently, he is a Lead Food Safety and Compliance Auditor for Maple Leaf Foods, based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Robert achieved graduate degrees including a Honours B.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Waterloo and a M.Sc. in Crop Science from the University of Guelph.

Robert has been an approved training provider for BRCGS since 2016 with certification to provide training for the BRCGS Food Standard, Storage and Distribution Standard and Gluten-Free Certification program as well as programs to support the BRCGS Professional program.
