Ruud is Senior Lead Auditor and Trainer for Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance. He joined LRQA in 1993 and has been active as registered (IRCA) lead auditor for ISO9001, Dutch-HACCP, ISO22000, BRCGS Food, BRCGS Packaging and IFS in a wide variety of companies, mainly in the food industry, packaging industry and logistic service providers. As training provider, he delivers training courses for a range of BRCGS courses. For the West European Area of LRQA, Ruud is the technical manager of the BRCGS certification scheme in the Netherlands. Ruud is has a MSc degree in Chemical Technology and a PhD degree in Analytical Chemistry; before joining LRQA he worked as Quality Manager for a third party laboratory and consultancy firm specialised in the Food Industry.
