Shaharyar Ahmed is MSc- Food Science and Technology from University of Karachi having 15 Years of experience in different industries including beverage industries, catering industry and different certification bodies. He is currently running QCS Global (Private) Limited as Director.

Before working with QCS Global (Private) Limited, Shaharyar Ahmed worked for SGS Pakistan from 2011 to July 2022. He was serving as Deputy Manager (Audits and Trainings). He was approved Lead Auditor for IFS Food, ISO/FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, Halal Food Management System, HACCP, GMP etc. He was also approved auditor for second party standards include Unilever, Kraft Food, Metro, McDonalds etc.

He is currently CQI & IRCA approved trainer for ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000, PECB approved Master Trainer for ISO 22000, Highfield Approved Tutor for HACCP and food safety level courses, FSPCA- Preventive Control for Human Food Instructor and BRCGS for Food Safety issue 9 ATP.

He is the author of book “Modern Day Industrial Applications of Food Safety” and also published a research article in British Food Journal.

Shaharyar Ahmed is a visiting faculty lecturer in Department of Food Science and Technology, University of Karachi and Department of Supply Chain Management in Institute of Business Management Karachi.

He has conducted more than 1200 audits in around 10 countries and carried out 500 plus training sessions including both accredited and non-accredited training courses.
