Tariq graduated with a Master of Food Science and a M.S. in Quality Management, and subsequently worked in many industries such as Agriculture Farm, Cereals like Bread, Confectionery, Catering and the Dairy industry in the quality department for different capacities. His last assignment was as Manager Quality System and Hygiene. He joined Bureau Veritas Certification in 2004 as Manager Food Operations, Lead Auditor and Trainer. He managed, in Pakistan, all Food activities including New product development, training and auditing. He began auditing against BRCGS Food standard in 2007, and qualified as a BRCGS trainer in October 2008 with 99% marks. He is trainer for HACCP, ISO 22000:2005( IRCA Course- Lead Trainer), ISO 9001: 2000 (IRCA ) and for many other courses such as Internal auditing, Food Hygiene and HACCP.  In addition, he developed Halal Standards as a trainer for Halal Lead Auditor.
